Kuwait Foundry

Kuwait Foundry is a modern plant, using the latest equipment and technology for the production of castings. The plant is situated in the Al- Rai Industrial Area of Kuwait, and covers an area of 45,000 square meters. The installed capacity is for a production of 25,000 tons per year of castings.

Castings are produced in a variety of processes to suit the production requirements, general castings are made by sand process, and pipes are produced by centrifugal casting. General castings include civil engineering products, pipe fittings, and miscellaneous castings, and pipes are made for the hubless (no-socket) systems.

Grey iron, and ductile iron are produced to all international standards, as well as special requirements. Facilities for alloy irons, and nonferrous castings are available.

Quality control is carried out by laboratory and plant personnel, using the latest equipment to back up general visual checks. A spectrometer in the laboratory gives full metal analysis in minutes, to allow adjustments before the metal is poured on the production lines. Metallographic facilities are available with photographic attachement.
